Make an appointment with us and your contractor, architect, or designer to walk – room by room – through your plans and make your selections.
Hardware Count
Modern Hardware is a true one-stop destination for all things hardware. Our team walks your space to count the number of door handles, drawer pulls, knobs, and more you’ll need to get the job done and then delivers the correct products – clearly labeled – directly to your job site. And if you’d prefer we install the hardware too, we can do that as well.
Hardware Installation
Our expert technicians install all hardware purchased from our store, whether for a few cabinet pulls or a house full of hardware. We also repair and service the decorative hardware brands we sell, while specializing in installation for mortise locks and multipoint lock systems. Job Site Delivery
Whether you’re a contractor on a job site, a commercial customer at a business, or a homeowner in a residential area, your order matters to us. Let us save you a trip by delivering your order to your location in West Michigan. We work with you to determine the best delivery plan based on your order, location, and timeline. We offer FREE Jobsite Delivery for commercial orders over $150.
Free Shipping
All orders over $99 are eligible for free shipping. Items shipped for free may be sent via UPS or USPS at our discretion. A tracking number will be provided by email once the order has shipped. In the event of backordered items, orders that qualify for free shipping will only ship once the order is complete.
Local Delivery
We offer local delivery to a 60 mile radius from our store for a $10 delivery charge on all orders.
Free Next Day Delivery
Free next day delivery is available to residents of Grand Rapids and East Grand Rapids on any order over $25.
Parking Lot Pickup
Parking lot pickup orders are typically pulled and ready for pickup within 15 minutes of ordering. You will be emailed once your order is ready for pickup and given instructions for where to park.
Keying Services
Let us take care of all your lock and key needs. We can re-key or key alike most locks, new or old, and we’ll provide these services free of charge for locks purchased from us. We can rekey almost any lock, and we offer master-keying at competitive rates. We even make house calls! Modern also carries a selection of decorative keys and provides key duplication for almost any key.
Glass and Screen Repair
If you find yourself with a torn window screen or a broken pane of glass, Modern Hardware is your repair destination. At our store, we can repair windows with screen tears or glass cracks and fabricate new screens and storm inserts. We also stock all the materials—glass, screens, spines, and slides—that you need to complete your own in-home repair.
